St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul express thanks to the people of the Tarmonbarry/Scramogue region for their Christmas appeal. In total over 800 euro was collected in the region.
Table Quiz takes place in Kon-Tiki on this Friday, 28th February at 8.30pm. Team of four 40 euro, and all funds raised go to the Ruskey Restoration Fund.

Sanctuary Players to perfor
Sanctuary Players are back and will perform on Friday next, 28th February at Roscommon Arts Centre with the exciting play by Michael J Ginnelly called: Pretend Sick. A scouting group will be formed in the area following a recent meeting in Kilglass GAA Centre recently. A good crowd attended and it was decided to move forward with the project.
A basic and very enjoyable Gardening Class will commence shortly in the Tarmonbarry region. Anyone from anywhere in the region can join this class. Class will run over 5 weeks once a week for about an hour and a half.
Real practical work will take place at each class and plants will be shown at each class. There will also be something different an a cuppa at each class. You must become part of this to really see how beneficial and enjoyable the whole course is. Phone 086-2507590 for further details. Funds raised will be donated after costs to a local voluntary group.
