End of Year Celebration of Healthy Events 2013 and AMG Community Games Youth Club: All the children who enjoy the Community Games events and their families are invited to the Heritage Centre on Friday May 17 at 7pm to celebrate the end of our Healthy Events Campaign 2013 and winding up the Community Games Youth Club for the summer. We are going to have a children’s table quiz based on the 5 Healthy Events topics so that we can all see how much we have learned this year. Then it’s outside for a nature walk in the Heritage Park with Brendan Farrell on hand to answer questions. There will be healthy refreshments for all afterwards. All parents to please attend with your child/ren as this is the last family event before we finish for the summer. Remember it is all happening at The Heritage Centre, this Friday at 7pm.

TY Students: We want to extend a huge thank you to the five Mercy Secondary School Transition Year Students who have given excellent service to all the children at AMG Community Games Youth Club every Friday evening for the past several months. Dayna Victory, Aphra Hartmann, David Whitney, Shane Finnan & Cormac Dennigan are really to be commended for the help they have given.

U12 Outdoor Soccer: Good luck to the U12 AMG Community Games outdoor soccer team who have reached the County final this week. The players were all new to 11-a-side rules especially being ‘off side’ so it was a great achievement to win their very competitive semi-final match vs Clonbroney. Everyone involved with AMG Community Games would like to offer their sincerest sympathies to Michael, Catherine, Gareth & Jack Mulleady and extended family on the death of Eamon Mulleady. All our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
