NELLIE MCGOWAN (BEIRNE): The unexpected death of Nellie McGowan Tawlaughmore Mohill at Sligo General hospital on the 15th May 2013 has caused widespread regret in the whole community. She was dearly loved wife of John. A wonderful wife mother granny and sister who was highly respected by all who had the honour of knowing her. Her kind gentle and unassuming ways together with her great faith was an inspiration to us all. She died as she lived with dignity. Her removal to St Patricks church and her con-celebrated mass on Saturday morning was representative of all sections of the community and a celebration of Nellie’s life. The beautiful music added to the solemnity of this very sad occasion. Our sympathies are with her dear husband John, sons daughter son in law, daughter in law, grandchildren sister brothers and their extended families at this sad time.
