FITNESS CLASS: Motivational fitness now taking bookings for excersie classes starting on Tuesday October 30 at 8pm in Kenagh Community Centre. This class is fun friendly and suitable for all fitness types. For bookings ring Darren on 086 0662781 or call on the night.
KDDA: The next meeting of KDDA will be held in the Community Centre on Monday night Nov 26th. All members please attend.
HALOWEEEN: There will be a Halloween party for children at Mosstown Harbour on Wednesday evening October 31st at 6pm. Bonfire,music and refreshments will be available. In the event of bad weather the party will take place in Corlea Centre.
PRESENTATION: There will be a Harvest Festival Social night and presentation in Gavs Bar on this Friday night October 19th. Music by Colm Burke. Refreshments served.
SOCIAL GROUP:Kenagh Social Group will meet in Saint Dominics Centre every Tuesday night throughout the winter months. Bowling and other pastimes available to all comers for the winter months.
PROGRESSIVE TWENTY FIVE: Winners in Saint Dominics Centre last Thursday night were Dan & Ned 10 games win fifty euro Brenda and Peter Bill and Pete 9 games share 60 euro. Table prizes Val and Pat Josie and Noreen.They win 22 euro.Raffle Peter McGarry Ivan Jones Kathleen Maguire Eugene Kelly,Barney Kenny,Jimmy Cahill all win 10 euro each.
LOTTO: The numbers drawn in Kenagh GAA Lotto were 5,21,22,25. There were two match three winners Caroline and Ann c/o Jimmy Leaveys and William McLoughlin Edgeworthsown.Both win forty euro each. 15000 euro going on four correct numbers next week.
JAMES (JIM) SMYTH MEMORIAL MATCH: On behalf of the Smyth family, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all you who contributed to this worthy cause & also to thank our mother Annie May who prepared the sandwiches & hot food refreshments after the game and a thank you to Delan Fox who provided the use of the kitchen area. We would also like to thank our mother for sponsoring the medals & the man of the match trophy in memory of the late PJ McCormack.I would also like to thank the Cashel GAA Club for the use of their fine grounds & to thank the David Jones & the Kenagh team for a good hard game of football and a special thanks to the Derryhawn/Cashel lads who togged out and gave a great performance. Finally the money raised at the game came to 343 euro.
