WELCOME HOME: We wish to welcome home Niamh Delaney,daughter of Padraig and Patricia ,Toome who is back from her two year long trip to Australia. We hope you enjoyed the experience Niamh,great to see you again.

AUTUMN STATION IN THE PARISH: Some people have expressed to Fr Padraig ,an interest in having a station mass in their homes and he hopes to organise a number of these in the next few weeks. Many new families have moved to the parish in recent years and among other things,a station mass is a special opportunity for people to get to know their new neighbours, who also in due course may decide to have a station mass in their own homes. Please contact Fr Padraig at the presbytery if you would like to have the station mass in their home.

SCOUTS: The scouts of Ballymahon are wondering if anyone has uniforms or necker which they are not using anymore. Could they please donate them back to the scouts or if anyone has camping gear that they don’t need that would be very welcome also. You can drop them into the Asthma charity shop in Ballymahon and tell them its for the scouts. Your help would be much appreciated.

IRISH DANCING CLASS: have recommenced every Monday evening at 4.30pm in St Dominics Community Centre in Kenagh. The cost of 4.50 euro per child and a special family rate of 1100 euro. Contact Maureen Farrell for furtheer details at 086 3702719. Children all ages welcome.

KNITTING AND CROCHET: Knitting and crochet get togethers are held on Tuesday mornings at 11am until 1pm in Ballymahon library. Anyone who wishes to go along with their knitting or crochet is welcome. For more details contact Carmel at 09064 32546.

30TH BIRTHDAY: Congratulations to Pairic Connolly son of Pat and Chris Rathmore who celebrated his 30th birthday at a surprise party in Gav’s Bar Kenagh on Saturday night last. We hope you enjoyed the night Pauric,the best of luck to you for the future.

You are invited by Fr Padraig to put your name forward or you may be asked to become a reader. If you are please accept. By accepting you will be fulfilling an important ministry in your local parish community.

CLUB 91: Sympathy is extended by evryone at Club 91 to the McLoughlin family Crevaghmore on the death of Tom. Tom was a longtime member of Club 91.Sympathy is also extended to Jimmy Lennon on the death of his wife and the extended family. Club 91 continues each Wednesday and new members are always welcome along and help keep the club going for another 21 years.

FUN RUN: A 5k and 10k Fun Run will take place on Saturday 27th October here in Ballymahon. The race which starts at 11am sharp will commence at the GAA Pitch and is being held to raise funds for Ballymahon GAA and Ballymahon/Forgney ladies club. There will also be a donation for St Christophers. Everyone welcomee. Please support the runners for these local groups.

BALLYMAHON LEO CASEY HISTORY GROUP: The groups next meeting will be held on this Thursday 18th October at 8pm in the usual venue,the Dean Egan hall. The group renew their appeal for old photographs and bill heads from the local and business communities,anything over 25 years please to help fill the groups next book “A pictorial History of Ballymahon”. Please send in any artifacts as soon as possible.

TWINNING: Ballymahon Landevant Laundaul Twinning. A meeting will be held in Murrays lounge on Tuesday night 23rd Oct at 9pm. All members are invited to attend and new members are always welcome.
