Hazel was extremely informative identifying stroke signs and symptoms eg loss of mobility speech problems to name a few. With some heart disease factors similar to stroke symptoms members were made aware of the importancee of regular blood pressure checks, overweight, diet and physical inactivity. Many thanks to Hazel for a very informative talk. Friday 3rd concluded our activities at the Dolmen Centre for the Summer months with all members in attendance. Music and song was the activity of the day with renditions of old Irish ballads by members of the group and surprise guests Billy Kelleher and Tom Cassidy who sang and played various instruments and raised the tempo of the group. Many thanks to Billy and Tom for taking time out to come to the Dolmen Centre in Aughnacliffe and no doubt the group will be looking forward to having them back in the Autumn.
