BENEFIT NIGHT

Abbeylara Parish Centre are hosting a massive entertaining benifit night in the Park House Hotel, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford on Easter Sunday night 24th April 2011. An extrordinary variety of music from varied bands, Chuck and June,Hubie Harten Band, The Wind That Blows, Martin Donohue and Friends of Northern Sounds plus Breffini Kickers Cavan Line Dancing Club. A host of spot prizes on the night; alos finger food served. Congratulations to Michael and Miriam Browne Clonsilla Dublin/Treanlawn Killoe on the recent arrival of a bouncy baby boy. MARATHON

The Phoenix Centre for Disabled Persons Longford are requesting people to participate in the Dublin mini marathon in June 2011 so they can raise funds to help towards a new mini bus. Sponsorship Cars are available from Lorraine on 086 2419194 or Trish on 087 7606491.

CONFIRMATION

The Sacrament of Confirmation was conirred on the 26 young boys and girls from St. Theresa’s N.S Clontumpher Killoe (6th class) by Bishop Colm O’ Reilly on Tuesday 5 April 2011 at 3pm in St Mary’s Church Ennybegs, Killoe. Emma Gray, Katie Morrisey, Marie Brady, Orla Canning, Tara Goulding, Lorraine Hughes, Ciara Loughlin, Courtney Kelly, Marie Lynch, Sarah Mullins, Ciara O’ Neill, Becky Rowley, Niamh Whelan, Brian Carr, Cíarán Brady, Daniel Craig, James Bracken, Keith Gray,Ronan Hughes, Brian Harte, Gavin Hughes, Conor O’ Keefe, Darragh Mulligan, Conor Moran, Mark McVeigh, Shane Thompson. We the Parish extend good wishes to all of those young people, their families and their teacher Linda Farrell. May the have continues guidence and trust the Holy Spirit will guide and direct then with their future formative decisions. A Blustery day it might have been but the Good Man above kept the rain at bay for the special afternoon. Congratulations to all!

EASTER CAMP

The camp will be hosted in Emmet Óg Park Clonee Killoe for a two week period from 18-21 of April and the 26-29 of April 2011. Children 5-8 years and 8-12 years with varied sports and activities from 9.30 to 3pm. Further details contact Gerry Delaney on 086 1638094
