People were shocked and saddened to hear about the untimely death of two former parishioners , Gary Murphy and Colm Reilly. Gary was son of the late Pat and Anna Murphy Cloonagh. He will be fondly remembered as a talented singer who as a teenager performed on radio and television. He was a familiar voice at Feiseanna.
Colm Reilly was the youngest son of Mary Anne and the late Phil Reilly, Toome. Locals frequently met the gregarious Colm as he went about his work in local hostelries. While he resided in Castleblaney he never failed to attend such events as cemetery Masses etc.
To the relatives of Gary and Colm we extend our deepest sympathy. May they rest in peace.
