We held another very successful fundraising hunt on Saturday last around Mullinalaghta. A big thank you to Longford Harriers for their participation and support to Mullinalaghta Development Council for the third consecutive year. On what was a very cold but lovely clear day there were great crowds assembled at many of the vantage points to view both the hunt and the local scenery. Appreciation is expressed to everyone who made this event possible, to Longford Harriers for their continued support, to Mullinalaghta Landowners who gave permission to enter their lands, to the stewards who helped on both Saturdays to prepare and patrol the course. Sincere thanks to all the ladies who helped with the refreshments. The same sentiments are expressed to all who supported and facilitated with the hamper raffle with donations etc. Congratulations to the following winners. 1st prize hamper winner was David O’Rourke. 2nd prize hamper went to Mark McNerney. 3rd and 4th prizes went to James Reilly and Maggie Reilly respectively.
