In aid of Alzheimers Longford branch. An event will be held in Begley’s Pub, Aughaboy, Killoe on Monday, 18 August with music supplied by Pascal, Liz, Davy and raffle on the night, plus a special guest appearance. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Leaving Cert

Ah well results are out today and we hope all you youth have passed and despite the points there is a place for everyone but do “keep your head when all about are losing their” with the pints and have a joyous celebrations. Good luck everyone.

Blessed well

Annual prayers will be said at St Patrick’s Blessed Well, Cartron, Drumlish, on Friday, 15 August. Assembly at Cooney’s Cross at 6.45pm when we will recite the rosary as we make our way to the blessed well for prayers and blessing. This is a life long tradition in the parish and they do lay claim to the cure of warts. So bring your bottles for holy water. Everyone is very welcome.
