Sympathy is extended to Tom and Tony Campbell, Lisney, Loughduff on the death of their brother, Patrick (Pat), Fourcuil, Clonakilty, Cork which occurred on Monday, 26th May at Mercy University Hospital, Cork. Also sympathy to his wife Marion, son Michael, daughters Irene, Corena, Anne and Laura and extended family, following requiem mass on Thursday, burial took place in St Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty. May he rest in peace.
Loch Gowna Active Age Committee have arranged a one day trip to Sligo on Tuesday, 10th June. Bus will leave village at 11am. Anyone interested in travelling, please leave your name at the post office before Friday, 6th June or call Mary or Rose on 043 66 83101 to do so.

The Abbeylara annual field day will take place on Sunday, 8th June where there will be lots of entertainment for adults and children which include the following tractor pulling, vintage cars display, midget car racing, ladies and gents tug o war, dog show and many more activities on the day.
