Sympathy

There was widespread sadness as news of the sudden and untimely death of James Farrell, Clonkeen, Longford. The Farrell family have strong connections with Killashee, James’ granny hailed from Rapareehill. James is survived by his parents, Seamus and Bernadette and sisters Caroline, Charlotte and Tara to whom we offer our deepest sympathy. James was laid to rest in Moydow cemetery on Thursday last. May his Soul Rest In Peace.

Congrats

Congratulations to the children of Cloontagh, Killashee and Clondra schools who received the Sacrament of Confirmation in St. Patrick’s Church, Killashee on Friday last. This was Bishop Francis Duffys first official visit to Killashee. The beautiful ceremony was the culmination of many months hard work preparing for the Sacrament, well done to all concerned.

Community Games

Thank you to everybody who contributed so generously to the community games Church gate collection on Sunday last in Killashee and Clondra. Your support is greatly appreciated.
