Irish girl guides
There is a new branch of Ladybirds starting in Clondra. We cater for all girls between the ages of 5 and 7 years. Meetings will be held weekly in the old school in Clondra on Thursday nights at 6.30pm. If you would like your daughter to join registration takes place on this Thursday evening 7th November in the Hall at 6.30pm. Ladybird leaders will be present to answer questions in relation to the childrens weekly activities.
A table quiz is being organised in the Richmond Inn, Clondra on Friday night 15th November at 8.30pm. Table of four, 30 euro. Also raffle on the night. Proceeds in aid of refurbishment of Clondra Hall. A good night out for all table quiz lovers. Looking forward to your continued support.
A refresher course takes place on Tuesday night 12th November in the Richmond Inn Clondra at 8pm. All members are requested to attend and new members are very welcome. For more information contact Evelyn or Niamh.
Ladies club gathering
Clondra ladies club gathering night out takes place in Keenan’s, Tarmonbarry on Saturday night, 30th at 7.30pm. Confirmation of attendance on the night required by 25th November. The sudden and untimely death of Trevor Summers, Knappogue, Clondra occurred recently. To his heartbroken wife, Edel, son Darren, daughter Sharon, Summers family in South Africa, Neary families, Knappogue and Clondra, many relatives, friends, work colleagues in Masonite and neighbours, we extend our deepest sympathy.
Deepest sympathy is also extended to the Farrell family, Middleton, Killashee on the death of Thomas (Tommie) following a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Teresa and son Michael. Sadly missed by his wife Shirley, sons Martin, Noel, Sean and Eamon, daughter Helen, brothers Peter and Jimmy, sister Nan, daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, many relatives neighbours and friends. May he RIP.
