The Newtownforbes Friends of St. Christophers Autism Workshop and Longford Dyslexia Workshop are holding a cheque presentation night in Casey’s Lounge, Newtownforbes on Saturday 9th November 2013. Music and spot prizes on the night. The Mulligan Sisters will perform Operatic and Sacred Arias along with Musical Theatre favourites in Concert at the Church of St. Camillus, Killucan, County Westmeath on Saturday November 30th at 8.00pm sharp. Tickets available at the door and cost is €10.
Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu International Karate
Our club training continues every Monday evening in the GAA complex from 7-8pm. The date for our December grading has now been finalised and students are reminded that training is mandatory if they wish to be considered for grading. Our organisation MSRI has a large number of clubs in the locality and students are advised that they are welcome to attend any of these clubs for training- Clubs: Athlone (headquarters of organisation), Ballymahon, Bornacoola, Granard, Kilglass, Lanesboro, Legan, Newtownforbes, Mohill and Rathowen. These are the only clubs in the region affiliated to Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu International and if anyone would like further details on training times please check out our organisational website matsbayashishorinryu-international or contact Sensei Ann Devlin on 087 9248816. Rassaun Craft Group invites you to a Charity Craft Sale in the ’98 Hall, Ballinamuck on Sunday, 10th November from 10.30am to 4pm. All proceeds in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Stop Suicide.
