Clondra Community Association wishes to thank Fr Tom Murray for his most informative and interesting talk and walk of the village. This was organised as part of Heritage Week. Thanks also to Mairead Ni Chonghaile, Heritage Officer with Longford Co Co for providing the refreshments. Thanks to all the people who could come along, it was a great opportunity for locals to relate some of their memories of life in the village and also stories handed down by their ancestors. It is hoped over the coming winter to record more of these memories.
Congratulations and best wishes to Dubhassa Forde, Clondra, who celebrated her 21st birthday with family and friends in the Richmond Inn on Saturday night last.
