All proceeds will go towards our debt on the walkway, so your support will be of great benefit. The walk starts outside the gates to Kildevan House and travel down Correally, Clonconnell, Burgesland ending at Streete Parish Park Sports Complex, Kilmore. There will be a prize for the first mum to cross the line having completed the course with a child in a buggy. Let’s make it a fun day for all the family before summer ends. Gathering

Invitations for our Streete Parish Gathering event in October are now being posted and distributed, so it’s time for people to offer help. A very interesting weekend is promised with special emphasis on Saturday, 26th. Special rates for accommodation are available from Kevin on 087 1375222 or on Facebook page Kevin Brady. Word is filtering through of many returning for that weekend and meeting up with old friends. The main event is in the Parish Park Complex on Saturday evening but it is hoped local publicans can see their way to having some entertainment that weekend in their pubs. Maybe some of the Sports Club might put on an outdoor hurling or football match. Maybe some of the ladies have some ideas. It is hoped all clubs and groups who use the facilities at the Park will get involved and let us know in lots of time for printing etc. Any offers can be sent to Brian Nerney 086 2596656, email brian.nerney@gmail.com, Pat Duffy 086 8433355, Alice Nerney 086 8130780 or Kevin Brady 087 1375222 or on Facebook to Kevin Brady. We look forward to hearing from you.
