Fishing Competitions: Loch Gowna and Upper Erne Anglers will host a junior open boat pike fishing competition on Saturday 20th April on Derries Lake. Fishing from 12 noon to 4pm. Sympathy: Deepest Sympathy is extended to John Francis Ward, Cricklewood, London and formerly of Mulrick, Loch Gowna on the death of his son Seamus in London. Following funeral mass in Columbkill Church on Sunday 24th March burial took place in the adjoining cemetery. We also extended sympathy to Seamus brothers, sisters, ward family Sonnagh, Aughnacliffe, Aunt, Uncles relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.

Table Quiz: Cortober Annual table quiz in aid of National School funding in The Pikers Lodge Hotel, Loch Gowna on Friday 12th April at 8.30pm, €40 per table of 4. Special prizes for primary school children’s tables. Your support would be much appreciated.

Kettlebells: The highly successful Kettlebells class returns to St. Bridgids Community Centre, Loch Gowna on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8pm cost €5 per class or €35 for 8 classes.
