COMMUNITY GAMES: The County Finals of the Indoor Soccer were held last weekend in Kenagh – results next week. All committee members are requested to attend the next Community Games meeting so as to vote for area nominee.

KILLOE IN THE CAPITAL: To celebrate Killoe’s GAA success and to mark the year of The Gathering, a special event will be hosted at the Irish House Party at the Tivoli Theatre in Dublin on Friday, 8th February at 8pm. This celebration with music, dance and refreshments aims to bring together Killoe people who are based in the city and all those in Dublin who have associations with Killoe. The Irish House Party at the Tivoli Theatre has strong connections to the parish through Gerry Quinn of Templeogue and Treanlawn and his family. Cilleo Yew Tree Players: Rehearsals are well under way for our upcoming two act production of John B. Keane’s ‘The Chastitute.’ Dates for the diaries are 21st, 23rd, 24th and 25th of March for a great night’s entertainment not to be missed!

Support group: Longford Mother to Mother breastfeeding support group will meet on Wednesday 6th February in Ballinalee Health centre from 1030am to 1230pm. All mums and mums to be welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a chat. The group now also meet on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 11am in Esquires Coffee House, Longford.
