Canoeing on the Royal Canal at Richmond Harbour, Clondra: A Fun Day is planned for Sunday 16th September on the Harbour. The event is open to alll from 10 years upwards, including those that have never paddled before.
Families are very welcome. Time: 12 noon to 3 o’clock. Fee €5. This is an opportunity to paddle slalom and canadian boats. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day out! For sefety reasons, those that wish to participate in this event must be able to swim. Buoyancy aids and other essention equipment will be provided. CLONDRA GOES BLUE GRASS: Broad Oak Blue Grass band from London are playing the Richmond Inn Clondra on Saturday night 22nd September.This group are no strangers to the area as they played at the Longford banjo festival for a number of years. A great night’s entertainment is assured . All are very welcome.
