TIDY TOWNS: The hard work of our regular band of Willing Workers has paid off & the Village has never looked so well. Our main work night continues to be Tuesday, meeting at the Parish Hall at 7.30. Please come with your bucket/gloves/tools & anything you may need to do some weeding or trimming. Thanks to those of you who have adopted the flower pots outside your houses & are keeping them watered as it would be a shame to see them wither after the hard work & expense of planting. Thanks also to our many sponsors who have kindly donated cash/paint/flowers/time and all that was necessary to get the work done. If there is anyone else who has not been asked and would like to contribute to our ongoing expenses please feel free to contact Bernie Daly or Margaret Brennan. The FAS team are doing a brilliant job in maintaining the village during the week. Rumour has it that the Judges have already been but they often pay a second visit so its still important that we keep up the momentum and for our own sakes have pride in our Village.
