PHOTOGRAPHY

Clare Frances Photography will be providing a professional photographic studio set up in Newtownforbes Community Centre (across from Church) on this Saturday 14th May from 11am til 2.30pm where you can obtain professional photographs of your child at a significant reduced cost (no session fee). Prints start at 10 euro. Orders will be ready for collection at Newtownforbes school from Clare Frances personally. STATIONS

The Station Mass for the townland of Leitrim will be celebrated in the home of Mary Devlin on Friday 20th May at 8pm.

LIAM LAWTON

The well-known composer and performer of Liturgical music Fr Liam Lawton will conduct a workshop on liturgical music in St Mary’s Church Newtownforbes on Tuesday May 17th at 8pm.

DANCE SCHOOL

A six week dance course for children of all ages consisting of hip-hop , ceili, line , ballroom , Irish dance, set, tap, flamenco, Scottish and kinder dance for small children will commence in the Aerobics room Longford Sports and Leisure Complex on Saturday 14th May at 1pm. The classes will last for an hour and are reasonably priced at 4 euro per child with a family rate of 8 euro per week. These classes are based on fun and enjoyment and at the end of the 6 weeks there will be a small show to entertain the parents.
