There will be a Church Gate Collection in aid of of Community Games on Saturday 5th March and Sunday 6th March st Scramogue and Whitehall Churches.

MACRA

Tarmonbarry Macra performed at the Kthe best of luck in the Co. Drama Finals which takes place in Kilmurray Hall on Sunday and Monday 27th and 28th February.Both Tarmonbarry plays take place on the 27th ant the result will be announced on Monday night.We hope there will be big support for our local group.

PLAY

The Sanctuary Players of Tarmonbarry presented The Beauty Queen of Leenane in the Backstage Theatre last weekend. This was a great performance and full credit to Maggie Carrington, Liz Leavy, Paul Kelly and Michael Frayne who were all so talented in this sometime funny and sometime serious production. Directed by Donal Kelly,we congratulate all of the cast and all of those people who worked behind the scenes to make this a successful production.

PARISH SOCIAL

Our Annual Parish Social for Scramogue was cancelled due to the very difficult weather conditions in December and JanuaryThe function will take place in Leavy’s Lounge shortly.

BIRTHDAY

Congratulations to Maggie Carlos,Kilglass who recently celebrated her 100 birthday.Mass took place in Kilglass Church and Maggie,family and friends partied in Shannon Key West Hotel Ruskey.I am told that Maggie travelled to Slatta Nat School to cast her vote on Election Day.

AUCTION

A major auction is coming your way in the Kon Tiki on Sunday March 6th at 3pm.The auction is under the auspices of Kilglass Gaels.There will be household goods,silage,turf,firewood,vouchers,brick a brack and much more.Please support.
