GIVE BLOOD

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has asked Loch Gowna Donors to make a special effort to donate this March 2011. John Healy Area Manager is looking for another fifty donors to visit the Loch Gowna clinic in an effort to hit their all time target in May 2007 of 259 Donors between the two days. Traditionally holiday periods, present a challenge for maintaining the blood supply and with the Easter Bank Holiday weekend approaching, we would ask donors to make a special effort over the coming weeks to get to a clinic. The Irish Blood Transfusion Service Mobile Unit will be located in St Brigid’s Community Centre, Loch Gowna on Wednesday 30th March 2011, Thursday 31st March 2011 from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Please note revised opening times.
