Irish Sign Language course will be available in Drumshanbo Vocational School. This is a great opportunity for students who wish to do Gasice Awards, working as SNA, Doctors/nurses especially the important of communicating with Deaf patients or anyone that want to learn for fun. Benefit Dance

A benefit dance for the family of the late Sean Mulligan, Ballinamuck will take place in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva on Monday, 16thNovember 2015. Music on the night by Night Fever, Mick Flavin, Noel Cassidy, Jimmy Hussey, Busy Fingers. Tickets cost €10 each - the committee will be out selling tickets over the next few weeks and your support will be very much appreciated. Tickets will also be on sale in Fox’s Gala.

October Mudfest

The race is a 6km run across country and will include obstacles along the way. There is a prize for the fastest men’s and women’s team of €1000 each and a prize of €500 for the fastest individual male and individual female. It will take place on Saturday 21st October. Entry is €25 per person or €200 for a team of ten. Check out facebook and for updates and details. Please spread the word.

Playground Committee

Volunteers are needed to form a committee for the upkeep and maintenance of the playground. All welcome to put their names forward, the more the better. Please email the notes if you are interested

Wedding Bells

The wedding took place recently of Stephen Murtagh, son of Eugene and Sarah and Irita Ozola from Latvia. The best man was Eugene Murtagh and groomsmen were Christopher Reilly and Trevor Murtagh. Chief bridesmaid was Charlene Murtagh with bridesmaids Maggie Lapczynska and Deirdre Coskernan. Chief celebrant was Fr. Brian Brennan. They married in Holy Trinity Church in Ballinalee and all the guests went on to enjoy the beautiful meal in the Kilmore in Cavan. They danced the night away in celebration. Congratulations to both.
