On the night we will have a display of all that we have done over the past few years, and of course we will have the now famous cuppa, so if you have a free half hour or so come out and see us, you might like what you see and join us and if it’s not for you well you can still have the cuppa and the chat, look forward to seeing as many as possible there. Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 3rd of November at 8pm, please note change of time as we hope to have a speaker from Lloyds pharmacy attend on the night.

Four in a Row Celebrations

Clonguish are still the only Club in County Longford to have brought home the Sean Connolly Cup four years in a row by winning the Longford Senior Football Championship in 1962,1963,1964 and 1965. A major event to mark the 50th Anniversary of this remarkable achievement will be held in the P.J. Murphy Memorial Hall on Saturday 7th November 2015. The Chairman of Leinster Council, John Horan will make the Presentation to the 1962-1965 players. A full four course meal will be served and the event will be fully licensed. Music will be provided by Aftermath.
