St. Mary’s Childcare campus is running an Easter Camp – from 30th March to 2nd April inclusive cost €30 per child and it is fun packed 4 days: Making and decorating Easter Eggs, Easter Bonnets, Baking Easter Cookies/Shortbread plus lots lots more. Congratulations to those who represented Mostrim in the Community Games Talent Competition on Saturday last at The Backstage Theatre Longford. Well done all. U-16 Group Singing: Teegan Murphy, Saralee Greeen, Laura Pakingham, Grace Ross, Freddie Green & Emily O’Leary. Bronze Medal Winners: U-14 Solo Dance: Nikkala Clyne. Bubble Camp

Boycey Sports Bubble Camp will be running an Easter Camp (fun and fitness) for children 6-13 year olds in Edgeworthstown Community Hall on Thursday 2nd April 2015 from 2p.m. - 4p.m. Cost is €5 per child. Activities include, Bubble Soccer, Bubble Bash, Last Bubble Standing, Quarter Back, Bubble Bulldog and many more games. Social Dance

A social dance will be held on 22nd March in the afternoon from 3pm - 5pm in the Park House Hotel. Music by The Ramblers. Admission and refreshments €10.

Longford Tourism

Longford Tourism in conjunction with Waterways Ireland are delighted to invite you to a Public Information meeting regarding exciting new recreation and tourism products called Blueways. Blueways are a series of innovative, safe and easy to use water and land-based trails. These provide for guided and unguided paddling, walking and cycling. Visitors can opt to paddle along the Shannon Blueway, on a 10km looped trail along the Camlin and Shannon Rivers, while the Royal Blueway provides 16km of off road walking and cycling from Cloondara to Longford Town. To celebrate this exciting trails development, Longford Tourism will host the inaugural Longford Blueways Festival in April.  So, come along and hear how you can get involved. All are welcome to attend.

Longford County Fleadh Cheoil

The annual church gate collection for Longford County Fleadh takes place on 28th & 29th March outside all churches in Co Longford.  Your support would be gratefully appreciated. Revision Course

An Honours Irish Leaving Cert Revision Course will take place in Longford town on Tuesday, 31st March 10am-4pm. An Bhéaltriail (Oral Irish), Essays, Prose, Poetry and Grammar will be covered and notes provided.
