School Entrepreneur Programme
Pupils from fifth and sixth classes in St Sinneach’s national school, Colehill are currently participating in the junior Entrepreneur Programme. The fifth class pupils came up with the business idea entitled “Choco Bites”. The pupils are producing this lovely presentable chocolate biscuits in the school and are currently selling the product at a cost of €2 pre portion with 25% of all profit made been donated to the Hope Foundation. The senior pupils in sixth class came up with the idea of producing personalized key rings for the entrepreneur programme. These key rings are produced in the school by the pupils and at present they are taking orders. If interested in purchasing a personalized key ring please forward a picture or details to be included on the key ring to the school by emailing the producers at firstname.lastname@example.org . Both classes at the school and their teachers would appreciate your support in these production ventures. Best of luck to the Carrickedmond girls under thirteen community games basketball team and their coach Michelle Mulvey who play Newtowncashel in the league semi final in Kenagh community centre on Saturday morning next. Hopefully, the girls can record a win and qualify for the finals of this competition which will take place in the same venue later in the afternoon.

Carrickedmond/Abbeyshrule defibrillator group will hold their annual fundraising social dance in St Sinneach’s hall, Carrickedmond on Sunday night, March the 29th 2015. Music on the night will be supplied by Jimmy Lennon and friends. Dancing from 10pm to 12 midnight. Admission is €10. Tickets are on sale at present and can be had by contacting any member of the defibrillator group. Please support.

Weight Loss Programme

St Patrick’s Day
Well done to all from the parish who participated in the Ballymahon St Patrick’s day parade which took place yesterday. It was great to see the parade back in Ballymahon and great to see such a large attendance in the town on St Patrick’s Day.
Two year re-certification continues in the hall Carrickedmond for people who are now due. If you are due two year recertification you will be contacted by text with a date and time when this re-certification will take place. Please indicate by return text if you can attend when contacted. If there are people interested in doing a CPR/AED course please contact Seamus Mc Guire at 086-8286748 or Anthony Green at 086-3993933 as it is intended to run a course for new people in April.
Rehearsals continue in Carrickedmond church on Wednesday nights from 8pm to 9pm. Next folk mass will take place in Carrickedmond church on Sunday the 29th March next at 10am mass. New members always welcome.
To the Colehill national school hurling team who were winners of the division four national schools hurling indoor competition which was held in Newtownforbes community centre recently. Well done to all concerned.
