Dinner Dance The Carrickedmond GAA dinner dance takes place in the Rustic-Inn Abbeyshrule on Saturday night next the 10th January ‘15 with the meal been served at 8:30pm. This event is always a great night of music song and dance and a night where all parishioners, club members, and players have a chance to come together to enjoy a club and parish annual event. This year medals for various competitions won including the Intermediate championship will be presented on the night. Music will be supplied by the very popular local “Dance on Band”. Tickets cost €25 each and are still available by contacting any club officer.
Christmas Parish Newsletter There are still copies of the Carrickedmond/Abbeyshrule Christmas newsletter available and can be had by contacting Fr Charlie. This year’s issue is full of very interesting reading about various groups in the parish and lovely articles of times past including old photographs. This news letter would be of interest to people from the parish now living away.
