On Monday, December 29th last the Holy Trinity Church in Ballinspittle, Co. Cork was the setting for a lovely wedding when Canon Brian Brennan PP Ballinalee united his nephew John Brennan, son of John and Theresa Brennan, Cartronmarkey and Olivia Murphy, daughter of Bob and Catherine Murphy in Holy marriage. Catherine had her sisters Claire and Jennifer as her bridesmaids while John had his friend and neighbour, Aidan Reynolds as his best man and his brother Francis as his groomsman. Following the lovely ceremony, the bridal party and their families and many friends travelled to The Rochestown Park Hotel in Douglas where they were treated to a fantastic meal and danced the night away to the great music of Nite Fever band followed by a disco. We join with the Brennan and Murphy families in wishing John and Olivia a long and happy life together.
Sincere and heartfelt sympathy is extended to Pat Sheridan and his daughters Martina, Caroline and Edel, Granard on the tragic death of Patrick (Junior) following an accident in Ballinalee. Patrick was laid to rest beside his late mother Margaret following Mass on St. Stephen’s day. We also offer sympathy to the extended Sheridan and Small families. May he rest in peace.
