Cloontagh National School are holding a fundraising spooky Halloween party/disco on Friday, 31st October at Killashee GAA Clubhouse from 6.30pm to 9pm for all children up to 6th class. This promises to be a great evenings fun with many prizes to be won, most creative pumpkin, best dressed parent, best dressed boy and girl. Admission is €5 per child or €10 per family
Are you interested in reviving your Irish speaking? Cairde Comhrá is a group of adults who meet every Wednesday night, 8pm – 10pm, in the Co-op building in Kenagh (The old National School). In an informal setting, we try to improve whatever level of Irish we have. New members are welcome to join us - so if you have very little, a little or a lot and would like the opportunity to improve your “cúpla focail” please come along.
Longford Harvest Festival Association are making a presentation to St. Christophers Services following the success of our fundraising events in Gav’s Bar in Kenagh on Saturday next 1st of November at 9.30pm.
