Community Games

Last weekend was the first weekend of the National Finals which took place in Athlone . Killashee had three representatives at the finals. Dylan Farrell and Peter Nolan were competing with the Longford cross country team and gave a very impressive performance. Pride of place must go to Cian Clancy who won the U-14 art competition and now has a gold medal to hang alongside the silver medal he won a couple of years in the u12 competition. All involved with Killashee community games are very proud of Cian’s achievements and congratulate him on his success. Good luck to Clodagh and Cait Kiely and Dylan Farrell who are competing in next weekends finals in Athlone. Clodagh is taking part in the U14 long jump, Cait is taking part in the U14 hurdles and Dylan is competing in the U14 800m race.
