Well done to Ciaran Scanlon who came 4th in his final in the All Ireland Community Games. There was only less than 0.5 of a second between Ciarans’ time and the winning time so he was not far off the mark. Aisling swam yesterday and was in a very strong heat and just finished in 4th place but was not enough to see her into the semi. Aisling will take great heart from her performance as she has another year at this level and she will be back next year. Also in action was Reece O’Reilly who was part of the mixed cross country team who just finish out side of the medals in their final. Well done to all 3 children. Next week see Rachel Gillian, Connor Leonard and Aoife Leonard take part in track and field events and we wish them all the best.
