GAA Cul Camps

Siamsa

Irish language course (Siamsa) will take place from Monday 7 July – Friday 11 July 2014 in Gaelscoil Longford from 9.30am – 3pm daily. Catering for students from second class to first year secondary. Further information/ application forms available from Yvonne Ni Mhurchu Tel 087 2642665.

Exams

Well a whole week of Leaving certificate/ Junior certificate exams has passed and we trust you are all well settled in and the parish remember you in prayer with wishes for the coming week and well rehearsed knowledge. Good luck everyone and may the holy spirit send an abundance of insight.

Community Games

The Art County Final took place in St. Emer’s N.S. on Saturday last, the 7th. June. In the U10 Boys, Terry Reynolds came 3rd. In the U16 Boys, James Kennedy came 1st and he will go forward to the National Finals on the weekend of the 15th to 17th. August. Well done to all who represented Killoe in the Art County Finals and congratulations to the medal winners. Killoe Community Games committee would like to wish the best of luck to all our athletes who are taking part in the County Finals on Saturday the 21st and Sunday, the 22nd June, in Ballymahon.
