Deepest sympathy is extended to the relatives and friends of Thomas Carrig whose funeral took place during the week. May his soul rest in peace.
Welcome home to Alice Magan who has returned from Australia recently.
Congratulations to Longford hurlers who won the Lory Meagher Cup final in Croke Park on Saturday last. They defeated Fermanagh by 3-18 to 3-16 after a very exciting match. It was great to see such support from Killashee and Clondra and they were not disappointed as they witnessed our St Brigid’s man, Johnny Casey score a super point. Well done to all concerned and continued success to all involved with Longford hurling.
On Saturday morning, 14th June at 10am, volunteers are requested to come out and help with grass cutting and tidy up at the graveyard in Killashee. Please bring your strimmer/lawnmower, wheelbarrow and any other tools that would be useful for the clean up.
