Contact any club officer or check out the club website www.arvagfc.com League: Arva travelled to Milltown on Friday night last to play the home side in the Brady’s Arva Breffni League where they emerged with a draw on the score Drumlane 0-11 Arva 1-8. Both sides were short a number of regulars and the game was evenly enough balanced throughout the hour with little separating them at any time. Arva are due to play Mountnugent this Sunday in the Brady’s Arva All County Football League Division 2 and the Cully’s Craft Bakery Reserve League. Congratulations are extended to Master James Miney, Drumalt, Arva aged 9 years who got Silver in the first Crosserlough Duathlon – Junior Section (U-16) doing the 3km run and 7.5km Cycle in 42 minutes 27 seconds. Well done James.
Monster Bingo continues in St Patrick’s Hall, Arva each Sunday night with a good attendance. With over €3,150-00 on offer each night (€1,000 on page 9) it is one of the best sessions around. Eyes down at 9pm.

Blessing of graves
The Blessing of Graves in Coronea Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 17th August at 12.15 pm. Plot owners are asked to have the final resting place of their loved ones looking neat and tidy.

The Social Club held their monthly Coffee morning on Friday last at which the Monster Raffle was held. The Latin School Players wish to bid a fond farewell for this season of Drama to their loyal audiences who came out to support our Drama group in this year’s production of Kevin’s Bed by Bernard Farrell.
