Vigil

The next First Friday/Saturday Reparation and Adoration Vigil to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary is in the Chapel of Our Lady’s Manor, Edgeworthstown on Friday the 4th of April commencing at 10pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain special graces, to make reparation and to spend the night in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament as we continue our penitential journey in lent.   All are welcome. Prayers

Divine Mercy prayer meeting in St Mary’s parish church every Monday at 3pm. Special prayers include the Chaplet and Novena of the Divine Mercy, prayer of Concentration to the Divine Mercy and St Faustina’s Station of the Cross. All are welcome and bring a friend. 

Work4You – Information Stand Longford Shopping Centre

‘Work4You’ set up by Acquired Brain Injury Ireland provides a free vocational assessment service for individuals who have an acquired brain injury and would like assistance and guidance in returning to work, training or education. It is free to anyone with an acquired brain injury and in receipt of a payment from the Department of Social Protection. If you are interested in the service or would like more information, Work4You are holding a Pop-Up Information Stand in Longford Shopping Centre on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 between 9am – 11am. Karate Club

Our training continues every Monday in Newtown at 7pm and Wednesday in Kilglass at 7pm.  Our clubs are going from strength to strength at present and it is great to see so many students training on such a regular basis.  For further information please contact Ann on 087 9248816. New Altar Servers

Fr. McGovern needs to recruit and train new Altar Servers. Any boy or girl in 4th or 5th Class is eligible to serve.
