The total amount collected for the annual fundraiser was 1,121 euro. Many thanks to all the helpers and sellers for making it such a success.

Old stamps

Tidy Towns raffle

Social dancing

Social dancing continues this Sunday night in the Stags Head at 9pm. Music by School House 5.


The new playground will open on Easter Sunday after Mass with a blessing to protect all the children who will use the facility at 1pm. On Easter Sunday night in Rawles we will be holding a fundraiser to help with costs associated with its development. If you wish to donate towards it and cannot attend you can drop it into me in the Post office. Spot prizes also welcome.

Hillside club

Next meeting in Thomas Ashe Hall on Wednesday, April 9th, Carmels team on duty. Take note of change of venue.

Tidy Towns

We held our auction day on Saturday last in the Thomas Ashe Hall. It was a very successful fundraiser with total amount being collected 2,140 euro. This will help with many projects planned, including flower pots, flower beds, mowing, strimming etc. Thanks to the following - Thomas Ashe Hall Committee; Mr Hughes school principal, everyone who donated items, everyone who purchased items, our auctioneer, tea ladies, all the helpers.
