Colmcille Gardening Club

Colmcille Gardening Club is a group of enthusiastic vegetable and flower growers which meet every second Thursday night of each month at 9pm in Colmcille Community Centre. Next meeting date is Thursday 13th February. During the year there will be specialist visiting speakers. On Thursday 30th January Clare Harrington will talk about Spring jobs in the garden. Entrance fee on this night 5 euro and will commence at 8.30pm.Whether you are a novice or more experienced gardener why not join our club and learn more or share your knowledge with us. Social dance classes

Kettle bell classes in St Brigid’s Community Centre every Tuesday and Thursday 8pm and 9.15pm. New members are always very welcome and you can join at anytime. For more information contact John on 087 2904921.

Arva Agricultural Show Society are holding a table quiz on Friday, 31st January in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva at 8.30pm. All support would be much appreciated.

Bluegrass and country music

Blue grass and country music returns to the Pikers Lodge Hotel, Loch Gowna, on Sunday, 26th January at 8pm and on Monday, 27th January at 9pm. Entertainment on the night by a band from Colorado USA with High Plains Tradition support act Martin Gilmore. A good night of music and song guaranteed.

Ladies GFC

Annual general meeting will take place on Sunday next, 26th January in St Brigid’s Community Centre at 5pm. All players and parents of underage are requested to attend. New players very welcome. Registration will take place on the night.
