Mrs Rita English
The death occurred in Kilfeakle, Co. Tipperary recently of Rita English, formerly McGuinness of Cloncovid. She had been ill for some time and passed away peacefully at her home in Knockballynoe East in the presence of her devoted family. She was one of 14 children of the late Philip and Sheila McGuinness who were teachers in the parish, first in Loughduff and when Philip was appointed principal in Cloncovid in 1958 Sheila was appointed assistant and they remained there until Philip retired in 1970.
