2013 is the year of The Gathering. This involves Ireland remembering and reaching out to our emigrants and friends throughout the world. Most families in the parish of Killashee/Clondra have someone that they know abroad. That could be a son, daughter, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin or more distant relative of friend. We would like to give you the opportunity to remember them in the parish this September at our Commemorative Masses on Saturday 14th September 2013 in St. Brendan’s Church Clondra @ 8.00 PM and Sunday 15th September 2013 in St. Patrick’s Church Killashee at 10.30 AM. This is a time to think of all our loved ones, be they still with us or passed on. Members of the Pastoral council are hoping to visit all homes in our parish to explain how you can be part of our celebrations. Please return your forms as soon as possible. We are also looking for people to volunteer to help provide refreshments after both Masses.
