All abilities will be catered for. It is due to take place on Thursday evenings but depends on numbers. More details when we get numbers.

Marathon men

Well done to Eamon McEvoy and Paul Glennon who both completed the Longford marathon a couple of weeks ago.

New York

Well done to the Longford GAA team in New York who won the junior B Championship recently. Locals on the team were Brendan Donohghue, Brendan’s Bar, Jack Doyles were also the team sponsors.

The wedding took place recently of Colm, son of Stephen and Mary McKenna, Soran and Helen, daughter of late Luke and Molly Donohoe, Drumrooske, Ballinagh. The ceremony took place in St Michael’s Church, Potahee and was celebrated by Fr Sean McDermott and Fr Brian Brennan. The bridesmaids were Linda and Noleen Donohoe sisters of the bride. Bestman was James McKenna and groomsman Joe Lynch. Flowergirl Keira and Page Mulvey. Pageboys were Daire and Oisin Reynolds. All the guests enjoyed a lovely meal in the Cavan Crystal Hotel and danced the night away to Busy Fingers. We wish the couple health and happiness in the future.
