Collection: North West Hospice Church Gate Collection - Will be held on the 9th & 10th February in all churches in this area.

Films in the library: Ballinamore Library is now hosting a film evening for adults and a film afternoon for children. The adult’s time is 6pm on Thursday and the children’s hour is 2.30pm on Saturday. Admission is free and details of films showing can be obtained by contacting the library at 071 9645566

Bridge Club: There will be no Bridge this coming Thursday 7th. The Bridge will resume on Thursday 14th at 7pm in the Commercial Hotel.


Evening Courses: Taking place at Ballinamore Vocational School. Introduction to Patchwork (Crafts) 4 week course €40. Card Making Craft course- 2 weeks €25. Introduction to Internet Safety for parents- 2 weeks €20. All courses will run subject to numbers enrolling and will be held on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm. Job Seeking Skills Course: County Leitrim Job Club will be running a job seeking skills course in Ballinamore Enterprise Centre commencing on Monday 18th February 2013 and running for four weeks. The course covers all aspects of job seeking (including basic computer skills) and runs 10am to 1pm, Mon-Friday. An attendance allowance is available to participants on this programme. Walking Group for Lent: We are starting a walking group for lent every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am. The route we will take will be along the golf links road and we will be providing tea/coffee on our return to the centre. Please meet at the RehabCare resource centre here in Ballinamore at 10.50am. All welcome. The first walk will take place on Thursday the 14th of February. We look forward to seeing you all.

Whist Drive: First whist drive of 2013 is on Thursday 7th February in the community centre Ballinamore at 8:30pm sharp, looking forward to seeing all the regulars and maybe some new faces on the night. Hall heated tea and refreshments at half time and great prizes on the night. All Welcome.

Parish Council Meeting: Meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Monday 11th February in the community Centre Ballinamore at 8:30pm sharp. All members are asked to attend.

Women’s Group: The First meeting of the new year of Ballinamore women’s group will take place on February 6th at 8pm in Trathnona. All members are asked to attend & new members are welcome.

Aughawillan Drama Troupe Double Bill: The second part of the double bill ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ is also a hugely entertaining comedy and will be presented on Thursday 14th, Friday 15th Saturday 16thand Sunday 17thFebruary again with curtain up at 8-30pm in Aughawillan Community Centre.
