Drumgowna School Reunion: The Committee had a general meeting in the community centre on Sunday 20th Jan. This was their second open meeting.
It was a very enjoyable and rewarding few hours with past pupils from two outside parishes coming, tracing their footsteps and volunteering their assistance, as well as providing photos, stories and precious folklore from another era. They want to remember their parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts who attended Drumgowna School, and they greatly enhanced our project. The committee would appreciate if people would come forward with phone numbers and addresses of anyone they think might not know about the reunion and also to get their own submissions in as soon as possible to any committee member or e-mail Drumgowna.School@yahoo.com

Autumn Club Meeting: There will be a meeting of the Autumn Club tomorrow night Thursday February 7th at 8pm. It is important all members where possible attend so as to plan classes for the Spring.

Winning Streak: Nice to see a very familiar face on Winning Streak last Saturday night - our own Caroline McKeon (nee Martin), a member of the teaching staff at Gortletteragh NS, supporting her husband David, who was a contestant on the programme. The couple went home with a handsome sum of money and we wish them happy spending.

Nutritional Therapist: Gwen Fitzgibbon, a Nutritional Therapist specialising in weight loss, will be in Cloone Community Centre every Monday night at 7:30 and 8:00 costing 7 euro. Please contract Gwen on 087 1432733 for further information.

Football Fare: Cathal, Ciaran and the Leitrim lads put in a very good display on Sunday last despite going under to a strong Limerick side. They are making real progress and developing into a team that can compete with the best in our division. We wish the team and management well in their home game against Clare on Sunday next.
