Mohill

MARGARET QUINN (REYNOLDS): There was deep regret on hearing of the death of Margaret Quinn, Boeshill,Mohill who died at home in the loving care of her family.
She was a lady of deep faith who was a very devoted wife , sister, auntie and most caring neighbour. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband many years ago RIP. Since coming to Mohill twenty five years ago she was an active member of the community who valued her friendship. She died as she lived with dignity. Margaret was a member of the Mohill Legion of Mary where she was held in the highest esteem. She was a dedicated worker and an inspiration to us all. Her funeral mass in St Patricks Church on Saturday last 2nd February 2013 was largely attended by family, neighbours and friends after which her burial took place in the adjoining cemetery. Our sympathies are with her nephews, nieces cousins and all who mourn Margaret at this sad time.

SYMPATHY: The people of Mohill wish to join with me in sympathising with family and friends of the late Helen McDonnell (Reynolds) formerly of Crossdrumman Gorvagh who died in Skerries last week and who was prayed for at all masses in Mohill last weekend. Prayers were also offered for the repose of the soul of Anne Duffy (O’Donnell) formerly from Breandrum, Gorvagh who died in Birmingham recently.

LEITRIM POST CARDS: Leitrim county library has made six ‘past and present’ postcards to celebrate the year of the Gathering. Mohill is one of the towns featured. The idea is to send one to their friends abroad to invite them to come to Lovely Leitrim. They are available to purchase for 20c in six libraries around the county. It is hoped people will buy them to send to relatives living outside Ireland.
