Sympathy: Cullyfad Community Groups extend sincere sympathy to our esteemed Chairperson Sean Murray, Cullyfad on the recent death of his mother Rosie. Rosie was a lady of quiet disposition but when in her company she gave you her full attention and you always knew she listened and cared about you. Rosie loved her game of Bingo and attended every Wednesday night in Cullyfad where she was much loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all but we know she is watching us from her place in Heaven.

Cemetery Sunday: Thanks to all who attended Sundays ceremonies in Cullyfad. Thanks to Fr Sean and Fr Paddy for their celebration of Mass and prayers afterwards in the Cemetery. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit Mass in the graveyard. Thanks also to all who contributed to the collection for the upkeep of the cemetery and to those who had their graves in such splendid order. We appreciate that so many of you remove the dead flowers and plants and take them with you, but of late some people have been dumping dead wreaths both at the gate and in the adjoining hedge. This thankfully is only being done by a small minority but we ask you to stop this practice immediately.
