Senior Championship: Annaduff play Drumreilly in the Senior Championship in Ballinamore on Saturday at 6pm. In the Junior “A” Champioship, we play Ballinamore in Cloone on Sunday at 1.30pm. The under 14’s play Aughnasheelin in Annaduff on Friday at 7pm.

Bors Beaten: Bornacoola rather unluckily lost in the first round of the Senior Championship to Carrigallen by 3-8 to 0-14. They play county champios Glencar/ Manor in the next round.

Under 14: St. Marys 2-6 - Annaduff 2-4.

Death: The death occurred in London of Pauline Farrell ( Nee Bohan) and formerly of Dromodmore, Annaduff. Removal took place to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Longford with Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Annaduff. Burial took place in Farnaught Cemetery. May she rest in Peace.

New Arrival: Congratulations to Ann Marie and Seamus Mallon, Dromod on the birth of a baby girl to be called Lucy. A Leitrim player of the future no doubt! Also congrats to the proud grandparents Annie Cox and Mary and Michael Mallon.

Marriage: Congratulations to Linda Hackett, Corriscoffey and Roger Ward, Newtownforbes who got married in St. Michaels Church, Bornacoola on Saturday week. Reception was held in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel. We wish them many years of happiness.

G.A.A Slimathon: Eslin G.A.A Slimathon proved a great success with €14,028 collected for Eslin G.A.A and €700 collected for the Irish Cancer Society.

New Foroige Club: Foroige is starting a new club in Drumsna in August for 12 -18 year olds. Activities include outings, arts and crafts, discos, outdoor pursuits, sports and games, community projects. Fleadh Success: Congratulations to Joanna Duignan, Gortinee daughter of Teresa and Philip on getting second place in the Connacht Fleadh Tin Whistle Competition. This second qualifies Joanna for the All Ireland Fleadh to be held in Cavan Town.
