Graduation: Congratulations to Victoria Harold from Lanesborough daughter of Bernie Harold and the late Terry Fitzpatrick of Killoe and New York on her recent Graduation from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen with a Degree in Bachelor of Nursing with 1st Class Honours. Victoria is a former pupil of Lanesborough Primary School and Wilsons Hospital School, Multyfarnham. She takes up a post as a Staff Nurse in the High Dependency Unit (HDU) at the Broomfield Hospital in Essex in September. We wish Victoria every success in her future career.

TRIATHLON: Michael Connell and daughter Michelle Esker South Killoe and Josephine Donlon Lanesboro Co Longford wish to sincerely thank everyone who sponsored them in their annual fighting cancer triathlon held on 18 June 2011 at the Belvedere House grounds Mullingar Co Westmeath. A sum of 1600 euro was raised with all proceeds in aid of cancer research St Vincents Hospital Dublin. A special appreciation thanks to Margaret McCormack Kiltyreher for her efforts.
