Sympathy is extended to nephews and nieces of the late Mrs Alice Kiernan Toome Dring who died Sunday 27th February in Laural Lodge Nursing Home Longford. Alice was a kind and friendly person who will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her remains were removed to St Columba’s Church Mullinalaghta on Monday evening and following requiem Mass on Tuesday burial took place in the local cemetery. May they rest in peace.

On Sunday 13th March the semi final of the All Ireland Talent Show will feature Sean Nos or an tSionann dancers. Representing Sligo Leitrim Roscommon and the west Deirdre and Niamh Kerins Ballymote are two members of Sean Nos dancers who are grandchilden of Mrs Ita Reilly Drumhaldry, Moyne.
