MRS GWEN FAY

There was general regret with the news of the death at Castlemanor Nursing home following a brief illness of Mrs Gwen Fay Drumlion Ballinagh. A quiet friendly and helpful lady Gwen together with her husband James came from England some years ago and purchased a private residence at Drumlion where they quickly endeared themselves to the local community among whom the couple were held in high esteem. Among their varied interests was a keen interest in gardening and the couple served for some years as secretaries of the Ballinagh Gardening Club. Deceased is survived by husband James (Jim) and relatives to whom I extend the sympathy of our community. The funeral took place following service in St Patrick’s Church Ballintemple to Croosskeys cemetery.
