TABLE QUIZ

A fundraising quiz in aid of the Ballinalee pony show will take place in the Stags head this Friday night at 9pm. Please support the show which brings a lot of pride to the village in the summer . Cost 40 euro per table. 20 euro for junior table. Lots of prizes on the night. Show is on Sunday 12th June.

The club would like to thank everyone who supported our table quiz , it was a fantastic success. To all the people who sent spot prizes and to all who sponsored each round we are very grateful. Well done to all the winners on the night the brainiest business of Ballinalee went to Fox Bros who also took the overall prize again thanks to all for their support.

VARIETY CONCERT

The organisers of the recent variety concert present by the youth and culture activities group would like to thank everybody who helped make it such a success. Thanks to Jimmy Fox for doing MC to his unusual high standard. Also to Catriona Reynolds and Rosie Reynolds for all their hard work to make sure the concert ran smoothly. Thanks to John Farrell , Ciaran & Colm Nugent for an excellent job on the sound. To Pat McDonnell and Breda Heaney who looked after the door. Thanks to Laura Gannon for the paintings and to Martina Heaney for providing sands for same. Thanks also to Derrick Reynolds for providing spot light for car park and the partition for stage. To Mel Farrell for providing car park space and to all the stewards on the night. Many thanks to Fr Brian for making a well deserved presentation on behalf of the group to Aisling Reynolds . Thanks to all who gave numerous spot prizes that were beautifully put together by Ann Gilliard and helpers. Also to Colin Dalton for the shop on the night and the ladies who provided refreshments. Thanks to the senior Scor sketch for performing on the night and supporting our youth. Thank to all who attended on the night. The concert was a great showcase of local talent. Its success was due to the work and dedication of all mentors who received great support from all parents. A final and greatest word of thanks goes to all the youth who provided such a great nights entertainment and are a credit to all.
